Today we bring awareness, solidarity, love, and a demand for justice for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women.
Nearly half of all Native American women -- 46 percent -- have experienced rape, physical violence, or stalking by an intimate partner. One in three Indigenous Women will, at some point in their lives, experience the violence and trauma of rape. In some U.S. communities, Native American Women are murdered at a rate more than 10 times the national average.
We stand together in our healing, and we stand together to break the cycle.
